※海軍が沿岸戦闘用の実験艦として建造を進めているX-Craft（当初はLittoral Support Craft-Experimentalと呼んでいた）。 シー・ファイターはアルミ製の船体を持つ双胴船

※X-Craft計画の主契約社としてONR（Office of Naval Research）から契約を受注したのはアメリカのTitan Corp. で、イギリスのBMT Nigel Gee & Associates社が 設計作業を、Nicnolos Bros Boat Builders社が船体と機械・電気部分の製造を、それぞれ副契約社として担当している
